This ranch had lost its modern soul through decades of disjointed remodeling.
Our mission was to free rooms from their choppy flow and connect this home to its beautiful wooded setting. Down came walls. Large openings were sprinkled throughout, flooding the home with natural light. Crisp details and an elegant, edited palette of materials plays against the verdant views outside. All the living and public spaces were concentrated on the upper floor, while private spaces and bedrooms were relocated to the lower level.
Two wings were added, one housing a new master suite with a roof garden above and the other a 2nd bedroom with the dining deck above.
The biggest joy for the home owners is that outdoor living now flows easily from both floors.
