This whole-home remodel began with a simple goal: to create space that feels effortless and inviting.
By relocating the back door and transforming the former office, we introduced a bright mudroom with a covered porch, an everyday entry that feels like an extra living space. The mudroom is generous enough to double as a flexible office, blending practicality with comfort. In the kitchen, we relocated the bathroom to an unused corner, opening the floor plan and making way for a built-in eat-in bench that instantly became a cozy family favorite.
The design carefully balanced modern living with traditional charm. New windows now flood the kitchen with light, while long sightlines create a sense of openness and connection from the front of the house to the back. A thoughtfully designed pantry adds both beauty and function, so elegant it could almost be mistaken for another room.
Even during construction, the Briscoe family says they felt at ease thanks to the care the Right Angle Construction team took in setting up a temporary kitchen and keeping the home safe, clean and livable each day.
