Sometimes a turn of the century masterpiece needs an update for modern living. This family wanted a better flow of space, room to gather as a busy family and more connection to the outdoors. The owner’s unique collection of vintage glassware and tins informed decisions about sweetly vintage, yet durable, accents throughout.
TheĀ owners wanted a cook’s kitchen with an island so their busy family could eat on the run. High quality appliances were installed throughout the space. We added a walk in pantry and a main floor bathroom.
We added a mudroom entrance on the side, which the owners say they use far more than the front entrance. This addition allowed for the design of an en suite bathroom on the second floor.
Large west facing windows bring in bold, vibrant views that compliment the home’s bright colors and a rear entrance now allows access to the back yard.
