REQUIREMENTS

    • Well versed in framing and siding
    • Skilled in all phases of remodel
    • Must have your own tools

 

#2 CARPENTER’S HELPER

REQUIREMENTS

  • Interest in increasing your skills by working on top notch homes and learning from some of the region’s best carpenters
  • Must have your own hand tools
  • Must have reliable transportation

The Criteser home is a mid century masterpiece, originally designed by notable Portland architect Walter Gordon. The family loved the mid century style, but wanted to open and brighten the space. They hired Emerick Architects to re-imagine the space, and Right Angle Construction for the remodel.

The Silver-Klapstein family presented us with a unique project: add to a gorgeous 1910 craftsman home that was perched on a hillside overlooking downtown Portland. The architect’s designs were detailed and building on the hillside was a challenge, but the results are stunning.
